JEFFREY P. MELE

Jeffrey Mele is the Director of Theatre Technology and Engineering for Alliance TCC. Jeff began his career as a professional musician and system engineer, touring with a variety of groups. These experiences lead to his first businesses at the age of sixteen. Opening End of August Productions in Laguna Hills, CA., a sound reinforcement company, launched the beginning of Jeff’s career as an entrepreneur. Aside from operating EOA, Jeff expanded his production experience at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, CA. and the Ventura Theater in Ventura, CA. working with acts ranging from Ray Charles to The Byrds, to rock acts such as Bad English and Marillion.

Jeff coupled his focus on system design, electrical engineering, and psychoacoustics with his production experience from work with over 350 national acts including everything from country and rock n’ roll to corporate events and theater shows such as Broadway on Broadway. In April of 1993, after working together on a number of audio installation projects, Jeff Mele and Gary Peck founded North American Theatrix Ltd. now based in Waterbury, CT. Jeff helped bring NAT from small scale audio, video, and lighting installations to the leading position in large-scale systems integration and venue design. North American Theatrix, ranking as the 169th fastest growing privately held corporation in the US (according to Inc Magazine's Inc500 2002 list), has now expanded its territory throughout the country. Projects include large scale theater, arena, stadium, gaming, and museum facilities.

Jeff Mele has also acted as the owner’s representative on a number of construction projects.
